OVERVIEW

During the Summer, we have a High School Program for area High School golf team, golf class participants and juniors inspiring to play High School golf. We have created a unique program that combines with PGA Junior League. Not only will they sharpen their skills, but students will also get tournament experience. In the summer, we normally have four to six teams with each team practicing once a week for 1.5 hours on weekday mornings and playing four to six tournaments guaranteed.

Tournaments will be played during weekday afternoons. All teams will be paired as equally as possible. They will have five to seven practices. We understand families may be absent due to vacations, so we will undertake to have all practice and tournament schedules out a week before their first practice.

Regular Season Matches reinforces the team concept while ensuring a competitive environment. During the course of one game, teams play four 9-hole matches in a popular two-person scramble format. Coaches can also substitute players every three holes, so that all of the golfers on each team can participate. Our High School PGA Jr. League Program is open to both boys and girls of all abilities, age 14-17!

Postseason provides an opportunity for experienced juniors to showcase their skills on the route to the National Championship. In 2023, Eclipse’s first year of hosting a 17U program, we were honored to win the Sectional Championship and move on to Regionals. 12-18 juniors are selected each season to represent Eclipse Golf Academy. There will be multiple qualifiers for players interested at the beginning of the season.

Eclipse Golf Academy’s High School Golf Program is for area High School golf team, golf class participants and juniors inspiring to play High School golf! Program will include the fundamentals of Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Bunkers, Wedge Play and Full Swing. Intermediate/Advanced instruction will be instructed, including Speed Training, Mental Game Training, and Course Management.

  • On-course play and performance-based practice
  • Weekly competition and pre-tournament warm up preparation
  • Teams will be split up evenly by skill level
  • Video analysis
  • 6-9 hours of practice time
  • 4-6 Tournaments Guaranteed
  • Discounted rate for private lessons

Cost: $470 – $110+ tax upfront for PGA dues which is good for the summer and winter season (includes jerseys, backpack, hat and more). $350 is the last fee for instruction and tournaments.

Op 36 Overview

Step 1

Learn & Develop Skills

Juniors train twice weekly in high-energy, structured practices led by our certified coaching team.

Each session groups players by division to ensure they are learning at the appropriate pace, with drills designed to build:

  • Strong fundamentals
  • Course management skills
  • Athletic awareness
  • Confidence and consistency
  • Our 6:1 student-to-coach ratio ensures every junior receives the individualized attention needed to progress quickly.

Step 2

Play 9 Holes

All juniors begin in Division 1 and work toward the challenge of shooting 36 or better for 9 holes.

Once achieved, they advance to the next division—continuing through all 10 progressions until they reach the ultimate milestone:

Shooting par (36) from every division!

This nationally proven model ensures progress is measurable, motivating, and exciting for both players and parents.

Step 3

Train, Play & Track Your Progress

The Operation 36 app keeps players engaged outside of practice by providing:

  • Guided practice plans
  • Training games
  • On-course stats and scoring
  • Progress tracking through every division
  • This allows juniors to practice with purpose, build consistency, and stay motivated all year long.

You will be sent a 2026 Junior Contract that will have your card information saved into our system. We will use that card info throughout 2026 for any related programs you sign up for.

You will register for tournaments through the MyPGA app.

Practice day depends on which team you are on. If there is a day that doesn't work you for, please let us now at your earliest convenience and we will do our best to accommodate.

Yes but we do ask to please limit requests so we can assure teams are evenly matched. You can send us a message in MyPGA app or send us an email to eclipsegolfacademy@gmail.com

Tournaments consist of four matches (pairings) battling against one another through Match-Play Scramble format. Each match has a total of 3 points they can earn. In order to win, a team has to have over 6 points total out of 12 possible points. If teams tie, the team that won the most holes for the tournament will be the team that wins. Juniors will play either 6 or 9 holes depending on their skill level and/or how many juniors are in attendance for each tournament.

You will start by playing nine holes from Level 1, where the course is 225 yards long, meaning 25 yards per hole. Every hole is a Par 4, which is your target amount of strokes to hole the ball. Do this for 9 holes to shoot 36! Your goal is to shoot 36 or better for nine holes. When you achieve this, you level up and the course gets progressively longer. This helps you gradually develop your skills without feeling overwhelmed.

Caddies are either a parent, guardian or family friend of the player. The responsibilities of the caddy is to drive them around in a cart each hole, help with club/shot selection, maintain a good pace of play while providing them positive reinforcement throughout the match.

Each semester is five weeks long with four tournaments scheduled each semester. You get to choose up to two tournaments each semester. Note there is a limit for each tournament so make sure you select which tournament(s) you wish to sign up for as soon as tournament registration opens to ensure your spot. Tournament registration will open the first Friday of each semester and an email and push notification will be sent out.

Each junior gets one personal makeup each semester and must let us know 24 hours in advance which day they plan to makeup. If we cancel class, we will send out options for making that class up on another day.
